Furnteck Engineers proudly manufactures the Crucible Type Melting Furnace, designed for efficiency and precision in metal melting. Utilizing advanced technology, these furnaces are tailored specifically for applications requiring exceptional metal quality and performance, making them an ideal choice for various industrial sectors.
Industries That Use It
The Crucible Type Melting Furnace is essential in several industries, including:
- Aluminium Die Casting: Used extensively for producing high-quality aluminium components.
- Aluminium Sand Casting: Ideal for crafting intricate shapes and designs in sand casting processes.
- Aluminium Gravity Casting: Employed in the production of lighter and stronger components using gravity-fed techniques.
How It Works?
The Crucible Type Melting Furnace operates by heating the metal contained in a crucible using either electric resistance heating or fuel-fired systems. The furnace's design includes high-quality insulation to minimize thermal losses, ensuring efficient melting. The molten metal is monitored through a thermocouple for accurate temperature control. Once the desired temperature is reached, the metal can be tapped out using a hydraulic tilting mechanism or direct bale-out method, allowing for seamless operation and high productivity.
